#TRUTH
I get asked every day what I think of this diet or that diet… the truth is I don’t believe in something that limits you when it comes to healthy food. Focus on making HEALTHY choices that are good for your body.

I realized many things. I say, today, but in fact, it’s simple things that I already know deep down within my being.
We are given one chance to live our lives on this world, yet it seems so easy to waste it mindlessly. What is important to me?
What does God have in store for me?
I must pray to discover the possibilities. Life was simple once. But that was only when I thought the world revolved around me, selfishly. Worries and wonderment.

Summer is SO close… it feels so weird that over a year has passed since I decided to create a healthy lifestyle, work out and get in shape. This time last year, I was finishing up with college and preparing to move home. It all feels like so long ago… time flies.
Honestly, I lost a lot of steam this past winter… a lot of things happened that I shouldn’t have allowed to have such a negative influence on me… In fact, I should have kicked this particular person out of my life immediately. But me being me, I held out hope that things would change and get better… and it even got to the point where I felt like IIII was the one who was creating problems (this wasn’t the case.. this person was just an extremely good manipulator). They didn’t.. and I ended up depressed, gaining weight, injured and struggling to find my balance. I quite literally lost hair during the whole ordeal and my once healthy habits took a turn for the worst.
Thankfully I finally got up the courage to get rid of this negative, bitter person and go after all the dreams and goals I’d had before this person came into my life and belittled them. If not for that decision I made, I wouldn’t be here on Tumblr helping educate and motivate you girls each and every day.I know I don’t post a lot of personal stuff.. I guess partially because I don’t think everyone needs to hear about all my ups and downs…. the reason I’m writing this is because I hope it gives those of you out there who find yourself in this kind of situation I described above, the courage to do what’s right for you. Don’t allow people who have given up on their dreams keep you from achieving your own. Don’t let the negativity of others influence you. It’s completely in your control whether you are happy or not. YOU decide who is worthy of being in your life, and who isn’t worth your precious time! Stay true to you and you will end up incredibly happy <3
